When We Were Young (Live) - Sucre
i can’t get enough of this song lately. i put on a sundress in my mind every time i hear it.
more often than not, i am an old lady and would rather sit on the couch, in my sweats, with a glass of wine and a good book (or a good dateline special) than go out on a friday night.
we’re heading up to ogden tonight to hear this guy sang.
i have a feeling he’ll make it worth staying in my jeans for a few more hours.
in other news: happy friday
This is a collection of songs that were recorded over the course of a few days with Dan Clark at Green Street studios. With their perfections and imperfections, most of these songs are in their earliest and most naked forms, but we are so proud of them that we wanted to give you a listen. They’re totally free, so if you like it, share it. That’s all we ask. :)
we are really excited to preview a couple new songs from our upcoming collection called the “green street sessions.” take a listen to “old john,” and head over to our facebook page (facebook.com/hopeandtim), to hear “these united states.”
details about next week’s full-length release coming soon!
feeling a little crazy and discombobulated today.
wishing i could sip a glass of wine with my eyes closed and listen to this on repeat. so far, i’ve only managed to accomplish the latter.
edit: apparently, the medicine i took this morning contained caffeine, and i swallowed it down with 2 cups of coffee. after a hearty lunch, my crazy has been contained.
4 friends, 2 mics, 1 guitar, 1 suitcase and a doorjam.
“in the garden”
featuring hope glenn, jayme mcgowan, peder gilham and trent myers
as promised…
sweet caroline (cover) - hope glenn
i am clearly not the guitar player in the group, but tim refused his assistance, in an effort to help me grow a pair. this version of neil diamond’s classic randomly spilled out one evening. i hope you enjoy.
